Annie, I'm not sure when you posted your message, but I was going thru the site and saw your situation. I too was on zoloft, among other things, and quit cold turkey. It was finally paxil that i quit so suddenly. I experienced the exact thing that you did. i felt the "voom voom" feeling and also i experienced some weird pounding whenever i looked right or left. Frightening. How have you dealt with being off the medication, and do you ever feel like going back on it. Also, I have seen many therapists for anxiety and depression, but have never been diagnosed, like, they weren't sure what was wrong or something. I'm having a hard time coping, and feel as if i have exhausted everyone around me, and actually choose to not talk to anyone anymore about the way that i feel. i hope this doesn't come across as being, "oh my god, who is this chic?" but i just found that i related to how you were feeling.
