I have success in inducing SP by the use of Melatonin. You can purchase Melatonin in any health store. The following "formula" will always give me an SP episode: Staying up for over twenty-four hours, take a couple Melatonin around 1 AM, set your alarm for 4 AM, go to sleep, then when you wake up at 4 AM - stay up for about 5 minutes, then try to go back to sleep. This may work for you also. As for inducing an "OBE", try to master lucidity first. A good technique is to ask yourself the question, "Am I awake or dreaming?", during your waking hours of the day. Everytime you pass through a doorway, get into a car, etc. This will become so habitual, that when you ARE dreaming, you will ask yourself that question. And your reply will be, "Yes! I am dreaming!"
