Follow-Up:
I write this in behalf of my wife....as we just had an episode tonite with this crap. She suffers already with severe headaches which she has a perscription for (Phenergan)and her doctor is aware of her taking this medication. The headaches seem to run in her family and she has suffered occasionally with migranes as long as I've know her, around 20 years. Tonite she took one because she was suffering from a migrane...then came the Ambien, which the same doctor perscribed. Well, she started across the floor towards the kitchen, was shaky on here feet, almost fell through a sliding glass door...and came to rest, passed out in the dining room. It took a few seconds to wake here up....and I spent next to 2 hrs. convincing her that she needed to go to bed and not stay up on this crap. She didn't remember falling or passing out. This is not the first time she has done some crazy stuff. The children swear that she trimmed our hamsters coat, and our little dogs tail...and never remembers a thing/wants to blame them. I've seen her ask questions over and over, and do/say things that she doesn't remember. She is taking 10 mg. as well. I said this was in behalf of my wife, reason I say so....is she fell out tonite, will be sore tomorrow...and will never remember--and swear..... me and the children are lying about her actions. If it's serious enough for me to post to strangers about it...maybe then she will realize we are not lying about it. This stuff scares me of what she could do/think/"See"...and never remember what she does as I often work second shift and she is alone with the children, or staying up by herself after they have went to bed. I sent a link to this page to her personal email as well as some others who posted under the name Ambian, spelling probably incorrect..but same crap. The problem I have is she takes her medication...then not going STRAIGHT to bed as the doctor says...then the crazy stuff starts, and you can't reason with a person in this condition. I picked her up and PUT her in the bed to no avail....she won't remember that either. I advise to stay off this stuff. It very new and the side effects are not worth what you stand to lose. Something milder is definately got to happen in our household. Maybe some mild across the counter stuff, when she needs it.
