I can't believe I've found this forum! I thought I was just weird. I've had SP for a while. It comes and goes. The worst part is the dreams within dreams that I experience. Last night was awful. I get SP as I fall asleep. I know it's coming. When I do sleep I have dreams where I know it's a dream and I'm tryin to get out of it. The first one is obviously a dream...then I try and wake up and arrive in another dream. Last night I really thought I'd woken up but I noticed that my chair wasn't where it should be and that my wardrobe was open ie. things were not 'right'. Then I panicked. To try and wake myself up 'in my dream' I hit my head and became hysterical. What finally worked was relaxing and accepting that I was dreaming. When I wake up (really!)from these episodes I'm always sweating, hot and scared to sleep again. So, yes, you can dream within a dream...
