I have had it (sleep paralysis) for as long as I can remember, but did not realize that there are so many other people who go threw the same thing. I suppose I get this paralysis every couple of times a month, but I always seem to shake it off, and forget about it. But during those boughts of paralysis, it is the most terrifying experience I have ever known. I cant breath, move, and I feel as if I am completly defenseless (which I am because I cant move!). But that feeling is amplified beyond that which is comprehensible. To get out of it I usually will try to move one small bodypart, like the toe, or pinky, and try to use that to move the rest of my body, taking me out of the state I am in. This doesnt always work though, and I get more anxcious as a result. The worst part of it is hearing your heart beating, like its going to burst, which I swear it is, and to hear your self short of breath. When I wake up, I thank god I can breath.
