I have suffered from this disorder for 40 years. The only time in my life that I did not wake up and eat every single night was when I was taking 40 mg. of prozac daily. It was a huge relief but I got tired of the side effects of prozac and was concerned about long term effects so discontinued use and now am eating again nightly. The timed refrigerator lock i read about in one of the messages is a great idea. I used to lock my refigerator and pantry every night before going to bed but often my husband would forget to unlock it in the morning and I couldn't feed my kids. Plus I got tired of every person who came into my house asking what the lock on my refrigerator was for. Phentermine did not work for me, at all! I am not optimistic about a cure as this is not life-threatening but I'm sure my arteries are a mess.
