demons, wasting your time, power through Christ, etc.

I spotted this post by somebody else much further down referring to demons placing themselves and ASP related things in our minds: ~~~"Its on your mind because they put it there. They do this to to keep you ocuppied with its foolishness so you'll waste time worring about it instead of fullfilling your real God given purposes in life. It also wants to frighten you to the point you'll become afraid to pray and try to confuse you to the point where you don't know if God is with or them. You need to get rid of them for good by pleading the blood Jesus otherwise they're think you like entertaining with them and they'll become more of a nuisance. I'm not trying to scare you but you need to firmly send them away. They realize that we become amazed by their existence and they play on it if for no other reason but to waste your time. Think about it, how much time have you spent already trying to figure out whats going on and is it really happening. This happened to a friend of mine and it nearly drove her nuts and me too. Finally after telling her minister she was able to send them away. Plead the blood of Jesus. Tell it next time " I rebuke you with the precious shed blood of Jesus Christ." Demons are working overtime tryin to get peoples attention. Some people think they're aliens and other cosmic being. They're just plain old demons. Good luck and God bless U."~~~ Being of the Christian faith myself and a "former" ASP experiencer you would expect me to agree wholeheartedly with this...well I do. But just because of my faith. Because of two things really: 1. Even if I had no faith in particular religious ideology, I would agree that these beings are obviously real in some way but more importantly, that whoever or whatever you wish to call them, it seems their primary purpose is indeed to make you waste enormous amounts of time. Is there anyone here afflicted with ASP, OBE's, etc that has NOT spent a ridiculous amount of time chasing down riddles, religious beliefs of any and every kind, etc? Go to Google and do a search on "space aliens", "conspiracies", "chakras", "merkaba", "gnosis", "mysticism", kabbalah, "ancient mysteries", "Atlantis", "pyramids", "occult", "channeling", "magic", "paranormal", "oriental north", "Celtic mythology", "underground alien bases", "tarot", "wicca"...well, that ought to be enough. Stand back and prepare to see literally about a million web pages on the strangest stuff you've ever seen. Not that it's dumb. Actually most of it is quite ingenious. All of it is a dead end. I don't know who left that post but I thank him/her for pointing out what's very obvious to me as well. There's an old saying among most books by self-proclaimed mystics: "Once you begin your journey you can never you can never return." Even Robert Monroe (who I once put 'too' much stock in) who coined the phrase "OOBE" said this. I'm living proof that's its horse hockey. I believe there is release from all this endless searching and time-wasting through Jesus Christ. You may not yet share my religion/beliefs but I hope you'll come to at least realize in the near future that you don't "have" to keep wasting your time. I'd also encourage anyone to read Melody Green's biography of her late husband Keith Green called "No Compromise". His journey to Christ started not so different from many who have ASP. His OBE's came by way of drugs mostly but he too spent many years searching out the roots of the experiences and even joined the Rosicrucians at one time. Hope that helps. And if you get onto one of these dopey websites trying to promote OBE's and you have a bad experience because of something someone suggested you do to try and induce them, I'd encourage you to think about bringing suit against such people for any distress they may have caused. Sorry OBE fans but that's the way I feel about and I'm never gonna change...again.
