Often in the middle of sleep.... I am awakened with an incredible hunger...almost as if I have starved myself for days or weeks.. I eat regularly during the day...I work out 4-6 times a week..my one fault might be a missed breakfast here and there... I've read on the "nocturnal eating disorder"..and although sometimes my recollections of a nightly fit of hunger are vague... I am aware of it. I don't usually crave sweets...like suggested, but rather a most convenient meal* usually carrots and peanut butter... now and again..a sandwich or ice cream. My point here is that when I awake...I'm literally starving... and I don't "avoid" food by any means during the day. I've had this "problem" since I can remember... I've had frequent nightmares..and often my "partners" complain that I babble in tongues* so to speak(sometimes recognizeable in languages I don't know and sometimes in weird babble). On average I sleep (unless alcohol induced- sleeping pills don't effect me) in 2 hour intervals... even when I don't have that "hunger of starvation" I still wake up. I don't have $$ nor a means of being tested.. Can someone help? Give me advice?
