Follow-Up:
I was diagnosed with Bi-polor disorder in 1987, at that time I refused to except the fact that I had a mental disorder. I refused treatment and medication. Finally in 1993 I decided to start on Prozac, the prozac worked for about two years and then I started hitting bottom again. I have seen my doctor and have tried the following meds: Prozac, Lithium, Val proic acid, and paxil. None of these drugs worked, so I am currently using a combination of Prozac and Depicot. This is not helping at all, I am only sleeping an average of about 3 hours a day. My mood swings are becoming more severe, and I have very little social contact. And most of all I have absolutly no sex drive. My life is a living hell, and there seems to be nothing that I can do to better myself. I have tried many of the self help programs to no evale. I would like to know if there is any new meds on the market that is specifically designed for people with bi-polor disorder, other than what I have taken in the past? Thank you for listening, maybe you can recommend something that will help.
