Follow-Up:
I started taking Celexa in January and was so sleepy that my Dr. added Wellabutrin, I have not been sleepy but the other side effects are too harsh and I am considering changing. With the Celexa the only side effect I had was clenching/grinding of teeth, this seems small compared to other side effects except I have had to see an oral surgeon and am now wearing a splint 24hrs a day to save my teeth from damage and to decrease the pain in my jaws. The wellabutrin has been a life saver I feel like I have woke up for the first time in 5 years. I do have jerking in my limbs and tremble in my hands. I am not sleepy during the day and have excelled in daily functioning. Dr. says that the side effects I am having from the combination of the two drugs could be serious and wants me to change. She hinted at seizures and scared me. I want to change to either prozac or paxil or zoloft but all the stories I hear it scares me to switch. If these side effects are so small I don't know if I should switch. I have determined that not just one drug will work for everyone, a combo or even trying different drugs until you find the one that is right for you is the way to go. If this combo works for you then by all means keep it up. Have you taken celexa? or Paxil or Zoloft, did you have any side effects?
