Follow-Up:
my husband was just diagnosed w/ severe sleep apnea. The sleep disorder doctor perscribed a cpap and did not give us a clear answer as to how long he must use it. He just said maybe a couple of years, but he did stress that there was no cure for sleep apnea. Obviously, we were not happy with these answers. I don't see my husband sleeping with this mask on his face for very long. I would greatly appreiciate any help or information i can get from anyone... I am researching this on my own so that i can help my husband and know what i am talking about when it comes to doctor's and insurance companies. Any names of doctors and any info you can give me would help. Oh! by the way, what type of surgery is involved to help this disorder? Thanks. Ann
