I was taking Paxil for over three months at 40mg a day. My side effects were too bad especially the sexual side effects, so I have decided to switch to Wellbutrin. My doctor wanted me to wean off as follows Start 40mg----20mg for a week------10mg for a week------Start Wellbutrin----- finally 5mg of Paxil for a few days. This seems way to quick for me. I decided to do it a differentt way, is that ok? MY Start 40mg---- 30mg for 5 days---- 25mg for 5 days------ 20mg for 5 days------15mg for 5 days......Start Wellbutrin----- then finally 5mg for a few days and stop. I take Paxil for depression and part of my depression has been about my boyfriend.... not being able to decide.... could my feelings and attitude towards him and others change for a while because of the withdrawl and change of meds???
