NEWSWEEK June 29, 2001 Dear 50-year-old American: NEWSWEEK is working on an ambitious photography project that we would like you to participate in. Those eligible will appear in the pages of the magazine as part of an historic portfolio that will tell the story of what 50-year-old Americans look like, and what they are thinking, in the year 2001. We will be shooting on July 13th and 14th 2001 in New York. For you to participate you must be able to answer YES to the following three questions: 1. Will you be you be 50 years old at the time of the photo shoot? 2. Are you an American citizen? 3. Can you give us just 20 minutes of your time to have your photograph taken by a world-class photographer in New York on either July 13th or 14th 2001?
