Jim, Not to be obvious but why aren't you asking your Docotr these questions? I take Traz. at 50mg nightly and have had few if any side effects, my wife uses occasionally at 25mg and it works well for her. I've seen reference to others takign up to 150mg perhaps for shorter durations. My guess would be she was still feeling the effects of the problem med and didn't give Traz. a chance.
