In reply to all of the people who have trouble with either drug... the thing is that medication is different for all people. I hva ebeen on nearly every sleeping drug that is available and some have made me hallucinate other have done nothing. It all depends on your body. If you are having hallucinations, that means that you have too much of the drug in your body and is creating something like an allergic reaction to protect you. As for sleep walking and such, yes, those are some of the things that go along with taking sleep aids. You have to decide if the benifits out-weigh the risks, and in some cases, such as the person who has FMS it would. Speaking from experiece of over 8 years with CFS and FMS, I can tell you that there is nothing worse than laying in bed awake until 8 am. I have found that Trazadone didnt do anything for me.. I felt like I took gravol. Other drugs that might be helpful in your search are, imovane(very powerful) and seconal(used in surgery to help put people out. For me these didnt work, Ambien is the only thing that has, but like I said it i sdifferent for each peson. I suggest that you not say things like "ambien will make you do this or that" because it may deter someone who will have great success from that drug. Remember our bodies are all different and we cant expect things to work on us the exact same way they worked on other. Be healthy, be responsible about what you are taking, and the advice you are giving. Katherine
