BRAIN/PRESSURE/PAIN

Question posted by Ros Byrne (rosandnick@zol.co.zw) on 2:1:0 1/6/2002

Question:

I have suffered from pains in the head for the past 8 months which are very unusual. This is a type of pressure pain made worse by couighing and clearing my throat. Bending down also causes the pain. Worse at back of head. Pain behind my eyes intermittently. Fleeting pain in my ears. I have developed tinnitus , a low buzzing in one ear in the past month. I get worse pain now when I lie down particularly on my side. My brain feels swollen and bruised. It hurts when I slightly move my head. I am 45 years old, female and do not smoke or drink. I have had an MRI scan on which nothing showed. I would like to hear from anyone who can advise or who shares these symptoms.
