Follow-Up:

I was diagnosed with BMS last week. It started about two months ago, my tongue started hurting and I thought it was something I ate and would go away. It didn't. I would wake up with a white coat on my tongue so my oral surgeon put me on mycelex. Than my Doctor put me on Diflucan. Than my oral surgeon put me on Nystatin. I think my yeast inf. is gone but the pain is still there. I am now on elavil 25 mg. It seems to help. I have good days and bad days. I had oral surgery in October to remove some salivary glands. In that process a nerve in my lower lip was severed. To this day some five months later My lip is still numb. I am also going through the change. I am having some blood work done shortly. Maby that will tell me something. But the elavil has helped.
