Hi Ive had symptoms for 28 yrs at first they could'nt tell me the cause.My hands would swell then my feet,this happened every couple of months.Then my brother started having problems he was in the hospital with sever abdominal pain,the doctors were thinking of surgery.Then some in the family told us to be tested cause we had a couple of deaths in the family from it well to make a long story short,we both have it,he was put on steroids and I started using antihistamines,Because my problems were mostly hands and feet.And it helped to slow it from happening so often ,but it did start getting worse and more often,I had a tooth pulled and my face got huge,then I had it in my chest and I thought I was having a heart attack.So finialy I had to go to steroids first I was taking 2mg of Stanizol every day then every other day,Know I take it every third day with no prolems so its just an experiment on how far you can it before you start having a problem.Good luck out there.
