Follow-Up: Hello Julia. I can give you some prices based on what Medicare will reimburse for a CPAP unit and supplies. Medicare will rent a CPAP unit for $95.31 per month for up to 15 months. This totals $1429.65 of which Medicare will pay 80%. In addition, there are the supplies that will be needed including: mask - $67.79, headgear - $36.89, tubing - $37.93. These items are purchased and become the property of the CPAP user whether they continue to rent the unit passed the first month or not. There are other items that are optional: chin straps - $14.36, disposable filters - $4.25, and humidifiers - $163.30. Once again, these are approximate Medicare prices and can be used as a general referance. You can also get package deals if you are paying out-of-pocket for the cost of the equipment and do not have insurance. I hope this helps. Good luck!
