Follow-Up: Hi Marie, I hope the tape works well with you and yous start getting some proper rest for the night. The pressure under the nose most likely is the strap adjustment. I got some good pointers from a fellow CPAP user. She told me to lay down in bed, turn the cpap on without attaching the straps. Once you have a good seal then adjust the straps for comfort. I am getting a new mask as the one I am using, a respirionics is loosing its seal and the straps are getting too tight due to its age. Good luck with the machine and mask. If you are interested you can find me in a chat room on sunday mornings at 9 AM EST in the WBS chat room. The chat room is called sleepy and a few other sleep disorder people have visited. its a private room and only activated when I or one of the other people open it. If you need more info E-mail me at my address and I'll send you a reply right away.
