Message: I was successfully using nasal CPAP therapy. A highly recommended EAR NOSE THROAT surgeon suggested that an operation to remove my uvala and other throat tissue would alleviate the situation entirely, or at least reduce the pressure I had to use on the CPAP machine. Since the operation, I cannot use nasal CPAP. Alternate therapies are an operation to break my jaw and move my tongue, or cut a hole in my throat for breathing. Neither are attractive alternatives. Sleep clinic confirms current apneas at an average of 33 per hour. Has anyone any suggestions, heard anything, or know who I could contact for alternate therapies? Thank you.
