Question: I have an acute case of nocturnal bruxism (teeth grinding at night) that is causing significant and permanent TMJ damage. I have tried many treatment paths, including: hypnotherapy medications (Doxepin, Clonozepam, Xanax) biofeedback acupuncture physical therapy dental mouthguard I'm interested in finding out if anyone has had a severe case of this affliction, then managed to overcome it with one of the aforementioned treatments, or another. I would like to locate a unit that detects the grinding and wakes you up----I've heard of these and would like to give one a try.
