Follow-Up: I just started using a cpap with a silicone-based mask. It turns out that I think I have an allergy to silicone. The result is some acne-like eruptions that appear the morning after along the bridge of my nose. They are quite oozy. All-in-all an unpleasant experience. I want to continue on cpap, minus the eruptions. Does anyone know of a tape or ointment that I can put on my nose or on the mask to act as a barrier that will not compromise the seal? Is anyone aware of a non-silicone mask? For instance, I know I can tolerate latex well. Is there a latex mask on the market? Should I try nasal pillows? Are they also made of silicone, or another material? Thank you for any information you can offer. TonyM
