Follow-Up: I had the same problem, and was wearing a plastic mouthguard at night. However, because I have a deep overbite and crooked teeth, I just recently decided to get braces and it has stoped the bruxism. It's quite amazing! Maybe you should go see an orthondist and get his/her advice on whether you need braces as well. I told the doctor from the beginning about my teeth grinding, and he said to me that it is normal for people with malocclusion to have this problem. It's like a way for your mouth to try and solve the overbite problem by itself, but it's only making it worse. I'm amazed at how quickly braces have solved my problem with bruxism. The result was within weeks... I hope this helps you.
