Follow-Up: Hey Todd, your humanity is showing. Maybe you should take your own advice and marry YOUR boyfriend. Bea, how did the new mattress differ from your old one - firmer? softer? larger? If the new one is softer, you might try putting a piece of 3/8" plywood between the mattress and foundation and see if that helps. If it is firmer then chances are that you need to put a pillow between your knees for side sleep or under your knees for back sleep. Also a firmer mattress will cause your pillow to have greater support , so you can try changing to a softer or less lofty pillow.
