Follow-Up: I have taken dexedrine and I do not have adhd. I just grabbed a couple pills from a friend one day who has it and popped them. I have experienced the same symptoms of twitching, squirming, and convulsions. I am a shy person but when I took dexedrine I found my self talking to almost everyone i came acrossed. I could focus a little more on school work too. The test to diagnose people with add/adhd is very, very inaccurate. I have tons of friends who take the test just so they can get the prescription for the pills then sell them. I would say probably half or more of the patients diagnosed with add/adhd actually do not have it. I also have a couple friends who actually do have adhd. when they take the pills they calm down a lot. My suggestion is try going a week without the pills. on about the 3rd day the dexedrine should be out of your system, if you feel calm and do not have the nervous habits you probably dont have adhd. If you take the pills after this and feel full of energy and hyper you dont have adhd. The only common effect between ppl who have adhd and those who dont is that you can focus more.
