Welcome to the official web site of Women in Sleep and Rhythm Research (WiSRR).  WiSRR started as an informal meeting of a group of scientists at the Association of Professional Sleep Societies (APSS) congress in 1992.  Since that time, WiSRR has formed into a recognized group for women sleep researchers and meets each year at the annual APSS congress.

The main purpose of WiSRR is to provide communication and mentorship between women scientists and students studying any aspects of sleep from basic science to clinical issues as they apply to both men and women.

Please use the links at the left to learn more about our organization.  If you have any questions or comments, please contact us.
